Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in combat sports. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She defeated all her opponents in the first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd won her next match against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the second round with a TKO. Her final fight with the promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round at the end of the second. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the first round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of evening. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters, was awarded an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight, breaking her streak to win. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
